Recreation Aide Responsibilities

• Prepare recreationalprograms and activities to meet the functional levels, needs, and interests ofresidents
• Maintain records ofresidentsa attendance and participation in activities
• Coordinate activitieswith other departments as necessary
• Follow care plans inproviding daily activities for residents
• Encourage residents totake part in personal development
• Promote physical,social, and mental well-being of residents

Recreation Aide Requirements

• High school diploma orits equivalent
• Strong interpersonaland communication skills
• COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

• Previous experience inlong-term care
