Indian River School District 2025 Extended School Year(ESY) & 12-Month Program (Flyer attached)

Dates and Hours:

July 14 - August 7, 2025, MONDAY through THURSDAY

ESY - 7:30 AM-11:30 AM ( hour planning) for teachers and 8:00 AM-11:30 AM for students

12-month Program - 7:45 AM-2:45 PM ( hour planning & hour unpaid, duty-free lunch) for teachers and 8:15 AM- 2:30 PM with lunch for students

Slight variations may occur with start and end times based on the transportation schedule.

Other Important Dates and Information:

Thursday, July 10 is a Day Classroom Set-Up

Thursday, August 7 is a Day (PM) for Classroom Breakdown/Data Collection

Locations :

Southern Hub: JMC/IRHS (ESY) (Elementary grades will be at JMC & Middle/High School grades will be at IRHS)
Northern Hub: GE/GMS (ESY and 12-month) (Elementary grades will be at GE & Middle/High School grades will be at GMS)
Howard T. Ennis (12-month Program)
Credit Recovery at IRHS & SCHS Session 1 : 6/23 - 7/3 Session 2 : 7/7 - 7/17

Staffing Pay Rate Information:

All positions will be open to internal candidates only
Teachers and paraprofessionals will be paid their per diem hourly rate
Teachers who substitute for a teacher will be paid their per diem hourly rate
Teachers who substitute for a paraprofessional will be paid their per diem hourly rate on the Para salary scale
School administrators are responsible for finding substitutes, if needed
