Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $108,783.59 - $117,521.09. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.What you will be doing
Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) is seeking to hire a part time Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for a Manhattan Rehabilitation Centers. The opportunity is for 24 hours per week. The candidates primary role is to provide medical and therapeutic massage to the following populations: pre/post orthopedic surgery; athletes recovering from injury as well as improving performance; non-operative orthopedic conditions commonly seen in a rehabilitation center.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working in an academic setting and collaborating with a staff of physical therapists and exercise physiologists. The candidate will be afforded optional opportunities for attending education conferences and participating in community outreach.
Requirements
To qualify you must have a NY state license for Massage Therapy in good standing, along with evidence of current malpractice insurance. Candidates must have a minimum requirement of 5 years experience with a wide variety of clientele.
