Description
NDT Technicians RT II
NDT Inspection Technicians with RT Level II certification to perform non-destructive inspections on piping, structural components, vessels, welds, and other critical assets. Must have a strong understanding of NDT techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Perform RT Level II inspections in accordance with applicable codes (ASME, AWS, API, etc.).
Interpret radiographic films/images and generate accurate, timely inspection reports.
Conduct additional NDT methods as qualified (UT, MT, PT, VT, etc.).
Set up and calibrate NDT equipment for field or shop-based inspections.
Maintain detailed documentation of inspections and findings.
Adhere to all radiation safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with quality control, engineering, and field teams.
Support audits, quality checks, and client-facing technical discussions when required.
Requirements
Current RT Level II certification per SNT-TC-1A or NAS 410.
2 + years of RT inspection experience, preferably in pipelines.
Valid Driver's License with a clean MVR
Must have current or recent radiation safety training (e.g., 40-hour Radiation Safety).
Valid State or IRRSP/ASNT card (depending on state regulations).
Ability to work independently in field conditions
Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset.
Must have Steel Toe Boots. All other PPE will be provided.
