As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you'll work with students facing physical, cognitive, or sensory challenges that interfere with their ability to participate in school. You'll perform assessments, design interventions, and provide direct therapy while collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers. To qualify in Virginia, applicants must hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, have a license from the Virginia Board of Medicine, and be certified by the NBCOT.
