Role of a Speech Therapist: As a speech therapist you will be working with students with diverse needs, such as autism, traumatic brain injury, deaf and hard of hearing, and cognitive impairment from kindergarten through 12th grade. Assess and diagnose speech, language and communication disorders in students. Able to develop, implement and assess Individualized Education Programs and demonstrate a willingness to cooperate toward IU and district goals.
