A K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized support for students in a contractual position for the upcoming school year. This role is based in Forest Lake, MN, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Document and report on student performance and communicate results to stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech-language services
- Stay current with best practices and state regulations related to speech-language pathology in schools
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with children and adolescents in K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of educational laws and IEP processes preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
