As a school-based SLP or CFY, you will assess students for speech and language needs, develop and deliver therapy aligned to IEP goals, and work closely with teachers and families to ensure inclusive, functional communication environments. New graduates pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year are encouraged to apply.

Louisiana requires a Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and eligibility for licensure through the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA). Certification or pursuit of ASHA's CCC is necessary for long-term placement.
