Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year in the Baltimore, MD metro area . This full-time, on-site role supports students in achieving academic success by developing and enhancing the skills necessary for learning, participation, and independence in school settings.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students with a variety of physical, developmental, and sensory integration needs.
Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document progress in compliance with school district and state requirements.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student engagement and participation in academic and functional activities.
Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when necessary.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including service logs and evaluation reports.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Maryland OT license (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) preferred.
Maryland Education Certificate may be required
Knowledge of IDEA and special education processes.
