**Pay Rate:** $57 / hour

**Duties:**
+ **Assessment** : Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities through observation, interviews, and standardized tests.
+ **Treatment Planning** : Develop personalized therapy plans based on individual needs, goals, and abilities.
+ **Therapy Sessions** : Guide patients through exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques that improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and cognitive function.
+ **Equipment Recommendations** : Suggest adaptive tools, assistive devices, or modifications to the home or workplace to facilitate daily tasks.
+ **Collaboration** : Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, physical therapists, speech therapists) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
+ **Patient Education** : Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve independence, safety, and well-being.
+ **Progress Monitoring** : Track patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document improvements or setbacks.
+ **Support** : Provide emotional and mental health support to help patients cope with the impact of their condition on daily life.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Occupational Therapist**
+ Ability to build rapport with patients
+ Compassionate and caring demeanor
+ Familiarity with medical terminology
+ CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
+ Must have up to date certification in the state of **IL**
