A licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential speech and language therapy services for elementary school students during the 20252026 school year. This contract opportunity offers flexibility to work onsite or virtually, serving students in a supportive educational environment committed to their communication development.
Location: Corning, CA (Elementary School setting)
Assignment Length: Full school year (NSY)
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time options available
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with students, families, and school staff
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and parents to support student outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license valid in the state of assignment
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Minimum of two years of recent school-based clinical experience, especially for teletherapy roles
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseloads independently
- Effective communication abilities and collaborative work ethic
