Occupational Therapist Opportunity Join Lakota Local Schools Full-Time

Lakota Local Schools is actively hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students build fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills necessary for success in school and daily life. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a collaborative, student-focused team.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will evaluate student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that empowers students to participate confidently in the classroom and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and prepare clear, thorough reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans based on IEP goals

• Address fine motor coordination, self-care routines, and sensory processing

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support consistent progress

• Attend IEP meetings and share recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapy License

• Ohio Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
