Toms River Regional Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students build essential skills for independence, learning, and daily activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to supporting student development.

Role Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate student strengths and challenges, design treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports participation in school routines.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and produce clear, comprehensive reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives

• Address fine motor coordination, self-help skills, and sensory processing

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and share professional recommendations

• Maintain accurate records per district and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based OT practice

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments based on district needs)
