Full-Time School Occupational Therapist Empower Independence in Woodbridge, NJ Schools

Woodbridge Township Schools is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver evaluations and therapy that help students build skills for learning, self-care, and participation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team committed to supporting student growth.

About This Opportunity:
In this role, youll assess students needs, create individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions to promote success in the classroom and daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and document findings in detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy strategies tailored to each students IEP

• Address fine motor development, sensory integration, and daily living skills

• Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to monitor progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and share professional recommendations

• Maintain clear records in compliance with district and state standards

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based OT practice

• Previous school or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent organization, communication, and teamwork skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during regular school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments vary by district needs)
