Occupational Therapist Position Support Young Learners in Passaic, NJ

Passaic City Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students build confidence and essential skills for success in the classroom and beyond. Join a team committed to providing high-quality support to every learner.

About This Opportunity:
In this role, you will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy that empowers students to be independent and engaged in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and create detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans that align with each students IEP goals

• Address fine motor coordination, sensory processing, and self-help skills

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to monitor progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input and recommendations

• Maintain accurate documentation that meets all district and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based OT services

• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred

• Strong skills in communication, organization, and collaboration

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
