Full-Time School OT Help Students Succeed in Passaic, NJ School Districts

Passaic City Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver assessments and therapy that equip students with skills for independence, learning, and daily activities. Be part of a collaborative environment dedicated to empowering students of all abilities.

About This Role:
As an Occupational Therapist, youll evaluate students needs, create customized treatment plans, and provide hands-on support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and prepare clear, comprehensive reports

• Design and implement therapy plans based on each students IEP

• Address fine motor development, sensory integration, and self-care abilities

• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure progress

• Participate in IEP meetings to share input and recommendations

• Keep accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based OT

• Previous experience in schools or pediatrics preferred

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during regular school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
