Plymouth-Canton Community Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver assessments and therapy services that empower students to develop strong communication skills for academic and social success. Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy addressing a range of speech and language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and prepare clear reports
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and social communication
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Michigan SLP License
Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs
ASHA CCC strongly preferred
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
