Empower Student Communication School Speech-Language Pathologist Needed in Chippewa Valley

Chippewa Valley Schools is looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluations and therapy services that help students strengthen essential communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team committed to student success.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy targeting a range of speech and language goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare clear, detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support progress

• Attend IEP meetings and share recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Michigan SLP License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
