Hardin County Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver therapy and evaluations that help students gain the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially. Join a team that values collaboration and student growth.
Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy targeting a range of speech and language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare clear, thorough reports
Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to IEP goals
Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication
Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support consistent progress
Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Kentucky SLP License
Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs
ASHA CCC strongly preferred
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
