Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring for a School-Based Recreational Therapist in the Antelope Valley area of California for the 20252026 school year . This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a lasting impact by supporting the social, emotional, and physical well-being of PreK8 students through therapeutic recreation.
Position Details:Location: Antelope Valley, California
Licensure: Must hold one of the following:
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) from NCTRC
Recreation Therapist Certified (RTC) from CBRTC
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy OR
Completion of recreational therapy-specific coursework plus paid work experience applying the therapeutic recreation process
Schedule: 2035 hours per week (flexible; subject to change)
Caseload: PreK8 students
Employment Type: W-2 Contract Position
