Union City School District is searching for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students strengthen the motor, sensory, and self-help skills they need to succeed in school and everyday life. Join a team that values collaboration and student-centered care.

About This Role:
In this position, youll conduct assessments, design tailored therapy plans, and deliver hands-on interventions to support each students development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals

• Provide therapy for fine motor coordination, sensory processing, and adaptive skills

• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to track progress

• Participate in IEP meetings to share professional insights and recommendations

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based practice

• Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred

• Strong skills in communication, organization, and teamwork

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments vary by district needs)
