Two Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available for a full-time, contract role in a K-12 school setting in Puyallup, WA. These positions run from September 3, 2025, through June 16, 2026, offering 37.5 hours per week. Candidates will work with students across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential is required
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Ability to provide services via teletherapy is a plus
- Familiarity with healthcare and school-based SLP practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Provide therapy services in person, with potential teletherapy sessions as needed
- Support student communication needs in a school environment
