School-Based Physical Therapist - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

A part-time Physical Therapist position is available to provide services within a preschool program serving children ages 3 to 5 in special education classrooms, daycares, and various community settings. This year-round contract role supports preschool students with specialized physical therapy interventions designed to enhance mobility, function, and participation in educational activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Fully certified and active Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania (pending certifications will not be accepted)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3 to 5) in educational or community settings
• Ability to deliver individualized therapy services in classrooms, daycare centers, and community locations
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of early childhood special education and relevant therapy techniques

Location:
Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to preschool students within special education classrooms and community environments
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into students daily activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and program requirements
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Contract period: August 6, 2025 June 12, 2026
