A full-time, full school year Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 educational setting in the Norwalk, CT area, serving the New Haven region. This contract role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services throughout the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students across elementary to high school levels.
- Utilize clinical expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Provide teletherapy services as needed to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology; candidates holding Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status will also be considered.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy within healthcare or school settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery.
- Bilingual skills and feeding therapy experience are highly desirable.
