PAY: From $34 per hour + / DOE
Purpose: To assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed therapist
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
* Communicate with patience, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team.
* Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
* Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional association.
* Provide timely written documentation as required.
* Support and participate in department operations and development.
* Report any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.
* Prepare and submit patient charges accurately to access appropriate billing information.
* Coordinate treatment goals with other team members.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (AOTE) certified school.
