Position Snapshot: Schedule: 24 hours/week (Part-Time) Summer Dates:
7/7/25 - 8/15/25
Extended Option: School year contract available (2025-2026) Setting: Specialized school for students ages 8-21 Experience: School-based or pediatric experience preferred ? Why This Role is Unique: You'll work within a strong behavior-based program grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) . Students present with a range of behavioral, communicative, and neurological disorders, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Seizure disorders Genetic syndromes (e.g., Fragile X) Metabolic conditions Dual diagnoses The school's Vocational Services Department also supports life skills and transitional training for students nearing age 22. ? Ideal Candidate: Passionate about helping students with diverse and complex needs Comfortable in a collaborative, ABA-informed environment Skilled in adapting physical therapy interventions for behavioral populations Open to year-round, ongoing opportunities Ready to make a difference in a dynamic, specialized school setting? to help students build independence, mobility, and life-ready skills.
