Overview Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students across Michigan through our cutting-edge virtual platform. Address diverse communication challenges including articulation disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, voice problems, and social communication difficulties. Your clinical expertise will support students in developing functional communication skills essential for academic success and social interaction. Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure therapy services align with educational goals and promote positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed speech and language evaluations using standardized and informal assessment methods. Create evidence-based treatment plans targeting individual student needs and goals. Implement direct therapy services through engaging virtual sessions designed to maximize student participation and progress. Document therapy activities and monitor student advancement toward communication objectives. Collaborate with educational staff to identify classroom strategies supporting communication development. Provide family education and training to promote skill generalization across settings. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to team discussions. Essential Requirements Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA-approved program. Active Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Current Michigan speech language pathology license in good standing. Minimum two years of professional experience in school-based speech therapy. Proficiency with computer technology and virtual communication software. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to build therapeutic rapport in virtual environment. Experience serving diverse student populations and communication disorders. Technology and Training Advanced teletherapy platform with interactive games and assessment capabilities. Comprehensive onboarding program covering virtual therapy techniques. Ongoing technical support and clinical supervision. Regular professional development workshops and training opportunities.
