JOB SUMMARY The Occupational Therapist position is responsible for providing skilled occupational therapy. The occupational therapist will assess, plan, and implement personalized occupational therapy interventions to enhance residents' quality of life and functional independence. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Supervise and guide certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) Collaborate with other health care professionals in the assessment, planning, and safe implementation of all therapy Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do Ensure excellent communication among residents, families, and staff Provide clinical documentation Create positive resident outcomes Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times Help create a culture of superior customer service *Please note that this Job Summary outlines the general nature and level of work to be performed. Qualifications:

Valid occupational therapy license

Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program

Successful criminal background check

Long-term care facility experience preferred
