Patient Care Coordinator

Single provider Dental office in Marquette, MI is looking for an energetic, multi-task master to control the front end of an efficient office. Enjoy a 4 day work week, with Fridays off regularly. If you are familiar with the series "Suits" - we are looking for a "Donna" to keep things running smoothly - that someone who can be the face that people can count on when asking for help.

General dental care, apnea treatment, as well as TMJ/headache care is provided for our community. Initial responsibilities include intake details such as verification of insurance benefits and eligibility for new patients, triaging emergency/urgency calls and communication with the Doctor on how to most efficiently take care of those needing help.

Review of the schedule to verify cases are scheduled for delivery when received, predeterminations verified for care recommended and previous records obtained from other providers as needed. When the intake portion is mastered, the outtake component will be a part of the coordination as well.

Responsibilities will also involve handling last minute openings and emergency/urgency requests. No regular hygiene schedule (two Fridays/mo at this time) to worry about - Just a lean team working together - helping our community to the best of our ability.

Compensation is proportionate to the details being accurately managed. Experience is not required, but is helpful. Quick learning for the language and layers of Dentistry, Apnea therapy and TMJ/Headache treatment preferred if experience is not a part of the skills being brought to the practice.
