TITLE : Physical Therapist Assistant DEPARTMENT : Health \n

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : \n

\n

• Provide physical therapy and services for patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) \n
• Hands-on therapy and exercises to promote mobility, pain relief, strength, balance, and prevent disability \n
• Provides training to patients, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care outlined by the Physical Therapist \n
• Provides therapeutic treatment in accordance with the patients' established plan of care with a focus on functional and measurable outcomes \n
• Electronic record charting \n
• Assist in maintaining department performance \n
• Clean and maintain daily use equipment \n
• Inventory and stock items as needed \n
• Other duties as assigned. \n \n

REQUIREMENTS: \n

\n

• Must possess Physical Therapy Assistant degree and license from Iowa Board \n
• Prefer 1 year of experience \n
• Proficient in physical therapy techniques and modalities \n
• Compliance with all licensing standards \n
• Must have current BLS certification or able to obtain within 3 months of hire \n
• Must submit and pass a federal background check. \n
• Prefer experience working with Native American populations. \n
• Comply with all HIPAA and privacy standards \n \n

SALARY LEVEL : \n

• Annual Salary Range: $53,601.60 - $78,395.20 \n ","
