This contract role offers a structured schedule, allowing you to focus on delivering essential audiology services to enhance student learning and well-being. Positions are open for three specialists: one in the Indio area and two in the Murrieta area. Each role operates full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students Provide hearing conservation programs and auditory habilitation services Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with educational and health standards Train school staff on assistive listening devices and communication strategies Participate in team meetings to support student progress and accommodation needs Qualifications: Licensed Audiologist with experience in educational settings Strong knowledge of K-12 educational audiology practices and federal/state regulations Ability to assess and manage hearing and auditory processing disorders in children Effective communication skills for working with students, parents, and school personnel Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational abilities Locations: Indio area (1 position), Murrieta area (2 positions), California This contract offers an excellent opportunity to apply specialized audiology skills in an educational context, contributing to the academic success and overall development of children.
