School Speech and Language Pathologist Napa, California

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized speech therapy services in a K-12 educational setting. This position focuses on delivering support during an Extended School Year (ESY) program designed to help students maintain and improve their communication skills over the summer months.

Location: Napa, California
Duration: ESY Program (June 23rd July 18th)
Schedule: 4 hours per week (one day), 8:15 AM 12:15 PM, for 4 weeks
Contract Type: Temporary/Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to K-12 students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and document student progress throughout the ESY program.
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other staff to support effective integration of therapy goals into the educational setting.
• Provide timely reports and maintain clear records in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license with ASHAs Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Experience working with children in K-12 settings, particularly within school-based speech therapy programs.
• Knowledge of best practices in pediatric speech-language therapy and familiar with IEP processes and compliance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with students, families, and educational staff.
