Job Description
Night Shift
12 hours/day
Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Respiratory Therapist for their Grand Junction, CO location.
Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and aerosol generators.
Assess patient response to therapy and make appropriate recommendations to the care team.
Document all patient interactions, therapy procedures, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Perform arterial blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation.
Respond to emergency situations, including Code Blue and Rapid Response Team calls.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
Provide patient and family education related to respiratory care and equipment use.
Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2
General Certifications: ACLS,. BLS/BCLS, ALS, NRP
Respiratory Certifications: RRT, CRT
