About Us:
Devang Family Services is a leading mental health provider dedicated to improving the emotional and behavioral well-being of youth and families. In partnership with Wake County Public School System (WCPSS), we deliver high-quality school-based and teletherapy services to students in need. We are seeking passionate and skilled School-Based Therapists to join our growing team.

Position Summary: As a School-Based Therapist, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy services to students during the school day, before/after school hours, and occasionally during school breaks. You will work closely with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support the emotional and academic success of each student.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide school-based outpatient therapy (individual, family, group) and teletherapy (as needed).
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with school staff through Child and Family Team meetings, MTSS, IEPs, and staff consultations.
  • Attend parent-teacher conferences as clinically indicated.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and payer standards.
  • Participate in internal supervision, training, and professional development.
  • Ensure timely response to referrals (first session within 3 weeks).
  • Provide culturally competent and trauma-informed care.
  • Deliver services in a manner that minimizes disruption to academic instruction.
  • Maintain communication with families and guardians, including obtaining informed consent.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Required : LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPA (provisional or fully licensed in North Carolina)
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a school or outpatient setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within school environments.
  • Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
  • Background check and sex offender registry clearance required.
Preferred:
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with school systems, MTSS, and IEP processes.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
