A Speech Language Pathologist is sought to provide specialized support for elementary-aged students in a contract role based in Lacey, WA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, enhancing communication skills through both in-person and teletherapy methods. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary school children.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques alongside face-to-face interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 55-60 students effectively.
Location:
- Elementary school setting in Lacey, Washington.
Additional Details:
- Contract for the full school year (NSY).
