Occupational Therapist School Setting in Piscataway, NJ

A leave contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based services. This role is focused on providing therapy support within an elementary school setting located in Piscataway, NJ.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students to support their developmental and functional needs.
• Implementing individualized treatment plans that address physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and achieve therapy goals.
• Utilizing teletherapy methods when appropriate to extend access and support for students.
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and healthcare regulations.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Licensure as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Experience in home health and healthcare occupational therapy, with a strong understanding of both in-person and teletherapy delivery.
