This role involves providing comprehensive speech-language services tailored to the pediatric population within a school setting, ensuring student progress in communication and language development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and services provided
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State license for Speech Language Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
