A physical therapy position is available providing essential services to young learners in early childhood educational settings. This role involves delivering physical therapy to preschool-aged children (3 to 5 years old) enrolled in special education classrooms, as well as in daycares and various community locations. The opportunity is based onsite in York, Pennsylvania, within an early childhood school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer physical therapy interventions tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support students motor development and overall physical function.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Provide therapy services in multiple community settings in addition to the preschool classrooms.
Qualifications:
- Fully certified Physical Therapist with an active Pennsylvania license; applications with pending certifications will not be considered.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational or community settings preferred.
- Ability to work onsite and maintain professional communication and documentation.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) hours, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Contract position for the school year (NSY).
