Providing speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting, this role supports a diverse student population across a small district area. The position involves delivering onsite therapy to a caseload of 50-60 students with a variety of speech and language disabilities, contributing to their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy within educational or healthcare settings.
- Ability to deliver effective onsite services in a school environment.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based in Carlinville, Illinois.
- Full-time contract for the 2025-2026 school year.
- 37.5 hours per week, onsite in the district.
