A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Glendale Heights, IL, serving a K-12 school setting. This is a contract position for the 20252026 school year, running from August 11, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 35 to 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across all grade levels.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to support student communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate student goals.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.
