Job Overview:
We're looking for a skilled massage therapist to join our team in downtown Fuquay! Applicants must be professionally licensed and insured. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, ensuring a personalized experience for each client.
Must be able to provide modalities such as deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal massage and hot stone. Preferred certification in cupping therapy. We're seeking an independent worker with excellent customer service skills to help our company grow. We offer a competitive pay rate, continuing education credits, and free monthly massages for our staff.
Responsibilities:
Perform various types of massage therapy (including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other modalities as required). Cupping certification is preferred but not required. Must be able to accommodate sessions up to 90 minutes in duration.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor specific, effective treatments accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or home care techniques.
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times.
Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
Qualifications:
Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in customer service with an emphasis on actively listening to client needs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
Commitment to ongoing professional development in massage therapy practices.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour/starting commission rate of 35% plus 100% of tips
Expected hours: 15 per week
