A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) position is available at a K-12 school in Walhalla, SC, for the upcoming school year. This contract role runs from August 5 through May 22 and involves working with students across all grade levels to provide critical speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff through regular team meetings
- Maintain detailed documentation to comply with school and state requirements
- Utilize indirect hours for administrative tasks and participate in paid team meetings
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Valid South Carolina SLP license
- Educator Speech-Language Therapist Certificate required
- Experience working in pediatric and school settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations from K through 12th grade
