Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Medford School District, Oregon Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Contract: 10 Months Start Date: 20252026 School Year Compensation: $70/hour

Position Summary: The Medford School District is seeking two skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists one to serve students in elementary and another for middle/high school levels. This full-time role supports students in developing essential communication skills that enhance academic performance, social interaction, and long-term success. The SLP will conduct evaluations, deliver individualized therapy, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades K12

+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

+ Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings

+ Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support communication goals

+ Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation

+ Support transition planning and functional communication for older students

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Active Oregon SLP license

+ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by district

+ Current CPR certification, if applicable

+ TB screening and Health Certificate per state/district guidelines

+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
