Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Aurora, Illinois

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a full-time, contract position at an elementary school serving PreK-8 students in Aurora, IL. This role provides an excellent opportunity for school-based clinicians or those pursuing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) interested in pediatric speech therapy within an educational setting.

Position Details:

• Location: Aurora, Illinois
• Setting: Elementary School (PreK-8)
• Duration: August 20, 2026 June 4, 2026
• Schedule: 7.5 hours daily, 37.5 hours weekly
• Caseload: 25-30 students
• Contract Position

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students across PreK-8 grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports in compliance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly desirable
• SLP candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
