Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Tacoma, WA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, offering an opportunity to work directly with K-12 students in an onsite setting. This contract role runs from September 2, 2025, through June 16, 2026, serving a diverse caseload within a school environment located in Tacoma, WA.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Possession of WA SLP certification for 2025/2026
• ESA certification required
• Strong pediatric SLP skills, with experience in school settings highly preferred
• Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with proven competency will be considered
• Experience with teletherapy is a plus
• Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Candidates currently employing SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or Vocational Communications (VOCO) are not being considered at this time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Manage and maintain an effective caseload aligned with school district guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development
• Use evidence-based practices to assess, plan, and implement therapy sessions
• Maintain documentation and reporting in compliance with district and legal requirements
