School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Millinocket, Maine

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide vital speech and language services to students in a K-12 school setting in Millinocket, ME. This opportunity spans the full school year under a contract arrangement and offers the chance to support diverse student needs in an educational environment. Role Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to approximately 15 students, providing 60 minutes of direct service weekly per student. Provide 30 minutes of therapy weekly to one additional student. Conduct five speech and language re-evaluations over the course of the school year to assess student progress and update goals as needed. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective communication interventions. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Experience working within a K-12 school environment preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling efficiently. Location: Millinocket, Maine.
