Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to support early elementary students in a K-3 school setting. Located in Waynesboro, PA, this contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, offering direct service to a diverse caseload of nearly 60 students. This role suits both certified SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year candidates seeking supervision in a dynamic academic environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services across a comprehensive caseload, including 1 ABA class utilizing AAC systems, 1 life skills class, and general learning support. Collaborate closely with two other full-time SLPs and one part-time professional within the district. Deliver individualized therapy plans designed to address varied communication needs of K-3 students. Supervise Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidatesideal for new graduates seeking mentorship. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support inclusive education practices. Utilize evidence-based strategies to enhance student communication and academic achievement. Desired Qualifications: Valid SLP certification with CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Experience working with elementary-aged children, including those requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently. Supervisory experience or a willingness to gain supervision training for CFY candidates. Collaborative attitude and flexibility in a school-based setting.
