A Speech-Language Pathologist with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support a diverse caseload in a K-8 educational setting. This position offers flexibility with full or part-time options, serving students from PreK through 8th grade. The role is ideal for clinicians interested in pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy services within a school environment. This contract runs throughout the academic year, beginning late August and concluding in mid-June.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students ranging from PreK to 8th grade.
- Provide therapy services in-person and through teletherapy platforms to accommodate student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor progress and ensure effective communication strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all school policies and federal and state regulations.
- Support speech and language development in a dynamic K-12 educational setting, focusing on diverse pediatric populations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technologies.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload including PreK through 8th grade.
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
- Eligible for or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
