Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team and serve clients in a peaceful, client-centered setting. You will operate as an independent contractor with full scheduling autonomy and strong support from our front desk and marketing team. Ideal candidates are reliable, grounded, collaborative, and comfortable working within a multidisciplinary wellness studio.
Responsibilities
Provide professional, high-quality massage therapy (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, prenatal)
Tailor sessions to client needs with an awareness of trauma-sensitivity and nervous system dynamics
Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all client interactions
Document session notes in accordance with Washington state regulations
Maintain cleanliness of massage space and tools according to health and safety standards
Participate in occasional team meetings and cross-referrals (e.g., yoga therapy, movement)
Qualifications
Active WA State Massage Therapy License (LMT)
Professional liability insurance required
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
Interest in mindfulness, somatics, or integrative care a plus
Strong communication and time management skills
Comfortable working evenings or weekends (schedule is flexible and client-driven)

Fully equipped treatment room (heated table, linens, cleaning supplies)
Administrative and scheduling support via Mindbody
Ongoing referrals from yoga and therapy clients
Studio exposure, social media promotion, and event collaboration opportunities
Warm, respectful studio culture rooted in service, wisdom, and embodiment
Compensation
$45 per 60 min, $65 per 90 min
