People with training as occupational therapy assistantswill have a preference. Those who have done any type of learning therapy or braintraining or neuro-rehabilitative therapy will also have a preference. The job entailshelping patients who have vision-related learning problems, or patients who have vision problems after a stroke or brain injury. The job is very similar to the workdone by occupational therapy assistants.Our practice is made up of a team of talented and caring people who love peopleand love helping our patients improve their lives with better vision. Our doctorsspecialize in helping patients regain function in their lives and work closely withour therapists to collaborate in making patients better. We treat both adults andchildren through 45-minute sessions once a week or twice a week.The therapists' coach patients through activities that teach patients how to betteruse their eyes and integrate their brain and eyes.
